Delete your VeRank account

You can delete your account and all of your study data yourself, from inside the app, in under a minute. If you no longer have the app installed, email us instead.

Option 1 – In the app (fastest)

1. Open VeRank and sign in.
2. Tap the Me tab at the bottom of the screen.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately and you are signed out.

Option 2 – By email

1. From the email address you registered with, write to support@verank.in with the subject Delete my VeRank account.
2. If you signed in with Google or Apple, tell us which one you used so we can find the account.
3. We may reply to confirm the request came from you. Once confirmed, we delete the account within 7 days and email you when it is done.

What gets deleted

What is kept, and for how long

• Encrypted backups may hold a residual copy for up to 30 days, after which it is gone.
• Internal, access-restricted audit records of staff actions that reference your account identifier are kept for up to 24 months for security and compliance. They contain no study data.
• Aggregated statistics that cannot identify you (for example, how many students answered a question correctly) are kept.

Good to know

• Deletion cannot be undone. If you come back later, you will start fresh.
• Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account. Use one of the options above.
• If you signed in with Google, you can also remove VeRank from your Google Account under Security → Third-party apps & services. Apple users can do the same under Settings → Apple ID → Sign in with Apple. This does not delete your VeRank account by itself.
