Terms of Use for VeRank

Last updated: 6 September 2026. These terms are an agreement between you and VEPI Eduventures Private Limited ("we", "us") for the use of the VeRank mobile app and website. By creating an account or using VeRank, you accept them.

1. Who can use VeRank

• VeRank is built for students preparing for the JEE and NEET examinations and for anyone who wants to practise those syllabi.
• If you are under 18, you may use VeRank only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms and our Privacy Policy on your behalf.
• You must give accurate account details and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity under your account.

2. The service

• VeRank provides practice questions, adaptive tests, progress estimates, review lists and study aids such as formula cards and concept checks.
• VeRank is currently free to use, contains no advertising and no in-app purchases. If that ever changes, we will tell you clearly in advance and inside the app.
• We may add, change or remove features, question sets or modes at any time. We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

3. Estimates, not predictions

Level bands, progress indicators and any similar figures shown in VeRank are estimates derived from the difficulty tags of the questions you answer. They are study aids only. They are not predictions of your marks, rank, percentile, or admission outcome, and you should not rely on them as such. VeRank does not offer coaching guarantees of any kind.

4. Independence from examination authorities

VeRank is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the National Testing Agency (NTA), the Joint Admission Board (JAB), any Indian Institute of Technology, the National Medical Commission, or any other examination or admission authority. "JEE" and "NEET" refer to examinations conducted by those bodies, and any trade marks belong to their respective owners.

5. Content and intellectual property

• Questions, solutions, formula cards, text, images and software in VeRank are owned by us or used with permission and are protected by copyright and other laws.
• We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial licence to use the content inside the app for your own exam preparation.
• You may not copy, scrape, extract, redistribute, sell, or publicly post the content, reverse-engineer the app, use automated tools to access the service, or use the content to build a competing product or train a model.
• Content you send us, such as question reports or feedback, may be used by us to improve the service without any obligation to you. Do not include personal data about other people in reports.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse VeRank: no attempts to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the service, share accounts, impersonate others, or use the service for anything unlawful. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms.

7. Notifications and email

Study reminders (push) and email updates are off by default. You can turn them on or off at any time from the Me tab. We will always send essential account emails such as verification codes and password resets.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using VeRank at any time and delete your account from the Me tab or by following these steps. We may close accounts that are inactive for a long period or that violate these terms; where reasonable we will notify you first.

9. Disclaimers and liability

VeRank is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep questions and solutions accurate but cannot guarantee that every item is free of errors; please use the in-app report button when something looks wrong. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any exam result or admission outcome. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always at https://verank.in/terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms; for significant changes we will notify you in the app or by email.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any consumer-protection rights you have under applicable law.
